If you know how much your employee wants to earn and you want to determine the amount of gross pay you need to pay, click on the inverted dollar sign on the tool bar.  NannyPay will automatically take you to the Gross Pay Calculator.  Enter the desired amount of net pay in the space provided and click "Calculate Gross Pay".  The result will tell you how much in gross earnings you need to pay your employee to obtain the desired net pay.  You can change the gross pay results by changing any of the tax settings located below the calculator.  If you are paying your household employee an hourly wage, you will have to convert the gross pay result to an hourly amount by dividing it by the number of hours you expect your employee to work per pay period.  Enter that amount as the hourly wage in the hourly wage box of the payment options.  Here is an illustration of the Gross Pay Calculator :
