To insure accurate calculation of payroll taxes it is imperative to keep NannyPay's tax tables current.  You can determine the version number of your current tax table by going to the "Help" menu and selecting "About NannyPay".  Compare this version number with the one currently available at Essentia Software Corporation's web site. 

If you have an active Internet connection, you can automatically check for updates using the NannyPay application.  Go to the Help menu and select "Check for Updates".  If NannyPay detects the availability of a more current tax table than the one you are using, it will prompt you to download and install the file from a balloon message, which appears in your icon tray. 

You can also set NannyPay to check for tax table updates automatically by going to the Edit menu and selecting "Preferences".  On the "General" tab, click the button labeled "Click to schedule automatic program updates".  A balloon message will appear in your icon tray.  Click on the icon-tray message and enter the desired scheduling information in the scheduling wizard.

You must have Internet acces to obtain NannyPay application and tax table updates.  They are not available by mail.
