To insure accurate calculation of payroll taxes it is imperative to keep NannyPay's tax tables current.  You can determine the version number of your current tax table by going to the "Help" menu and selecting "About NannyPay".  Compare this version number with the one currently available at Essentia Software Corporation's web site. 

If you have an Internet connection, you can automatically check for updates using the NannyPay application.  Go to the Help menu and select "Check for Updates".  If NannyPay detects the availability of a more current tax table than the one you are using, it will prompt you to download and install the file.  You can also set NannyPay to check for tax table updates automatically every time it starts by going to the Edit menu and selecting "Preferences".  You will find that option under the "Tax Options" tab.
